Top 8 Things to Do in Bali

1. Take in a gorgeous sunset:

Bali is famous for its spectacular sunsets, so make sure to catch at least one while you’re there. Our favorite evening lookout spots are cliff-side temple Uluwatu (don't miss an evening kecak dance there), Tanah Lot, Rock Bar, and El Kabron. To make the most of your time, hire one of our knowledgeable guides and customize a day trip to see Bali’s highlights beforehand.

2. Explore local villages and admire Bali's famous rice paddies:

Whether you're on a bike, in a land rover, riding a rickshaw or on horseback, Bali's rice paddies and quaint villages are a must-visit. We highly recommend a stroll through the picturesque rice terraces at Jatiluwih and a day trip to fascinating Tenganan for a peek at how the locals really live. Also, if you run into a local temple ceremony, definitely stop to watch the procession!

3. Indulge in classic local dishes:

While Bali has got its fair share of high-end restaurants and beach clubs, don't miss tucking into mouthwatering local favourites like Babi Guling (spit-roasted pig), Ayam Betutu (slow-cooked spiced chicken in banana leaves) and Sate Lilit (spiced mince on lemongrass sticks). If you want to take these dishes home, join a cooking class with one of our expert teachers. Our favorite is an organic cooking class at a scenic farm in East Bali. Our guests say they taste the best food they've ever had!

4. Go on an outdoor adventure

If you find yourself restless after a few days at the hotel pool, get your adrenaline pumping with some outdoor adventure sports! White water rafting, elephant trekking and ATV beach rides are popular options, but our absolute favourite is canyoning, where you get to rappel down waterfalls and jump into natural rock pools. Our hosts will record you on their GoPro camera, so you get to show off to your friends afterwards.

5. Pick up a local craft:

The Balinese are known worldwide for their exquisite craftsmanship, so make sure you pay a visit to Bali’s cultural hub - Ubud - and set aside a few hours to try making your own silver jewelry, wooden mask, fruit carving, stone carving, or even batik.

6. Dive the Liberty wreck in Tulamben:

Whether you're an absolute beginner or an experienced Divemaster, make it a point to dive the iconic USAT Liberty wreck - an underwater maze of hidden rooms housing a mind-boggling array of fish and corals. If you're feeling extra-adventurous, hold your breath and learn freediving on this 3-day course.

7.Turn up the romance:
If you’re lucky enough to be with that special someone in Bali, don’t miss this romantic picnic in bed on a private beach (the desserts come with blindfolds!). You can even make your own couple jewelry or commemorate your special trip with a glamorous photoshoot in traditional Balinese outfits.

8. Catch some waves along Bali's best beaches:

There's something for every skill level in this surfer's paradise, so enroll for a 1-day surf trip with local experts to visit stunning beaches like Dreamland beach and Padang Padang and you'll be riding those waves in no time. While you’re at it, don’t miss having a go at other exciting watersports like parasailing, flying fish, underwater scooters and more.Book Your Bali Tour Packages Now!
